Sup foos! I'm thinking about a 211 55...
Anyway, it looks like the Godfather is on the right track looking for a lower mileage '04 vs a high mile '03. I do agree with C32used that Kelley Blue Book is always way off and that Edmunds is much closer to reality on pricing in general. Another thing that I do is simply run a search on Autotrader within 300/500 miles of my area and look at the average asking price...that should be a good indicator of pricing as well. You might even find a great deal that way also.
Are the '03 E55s that bad? Mine was built in August '03 and I now have 28K miles...should I be on the lookout for electrical issues?
Sorry, off topic...I'll do some searching.

And yes, I'm quite the OG here stormwind as you can see...Anyhoo, I've been looking at 04's. I found a CPO w/ 40 something thousand miles for 39k at a MB dealer.... I'm very very very tempted... As long as they don't shaft me into oblivion on the Lex, I may do it. I'm flying out to NYC for a short vacation, so I'll re-assess once I come back. I may actually bother selling the lexus and make more... I just bought a brand new Toyota FJ Cruiser and that thing is fun as hell!! But I miss AMG sooooo much!!
If anybody know of a private party, or otherwise, selling an '04 55 or any 55 for under 40k, let me know

Ok so check this out: I found a 2003 E55 w/ 43k miles, CPO, all options except for comand. Dynamic seats, partronic, distronic, ventilated seats, keyless go. So it's pretty loaded. They want 39,500 for it and claim that "oops we made a mistake it was supposed to be 45k" yeah ok whatever. So they said 43,500 after tax and license. They're giving me 29k for my car, stock, which isn't TOO bad. what do you think of that deal? On thing is I owe 21500 on the Lexus so that kinda sucks I don't have that much equity. Looks like the payment difference per month will be about 190 bucks a month.... man, if I didn't have bought the FJ 3 weeks ago, I would've done it already... argh... anyway, I'm going to NYC tonight for a week, so I guess I'll sleep on it.
