Click on the link in the lower left hand corner. Not totally sold on the styling, but an excellent offering by GM nonetheless.

Was talking to the Katech guy (used to work with GM, knows the guys who designed the ZR1 blah blah) at the dyno few months ago and he mentioned that the Caddy engines are similiar to the Vette engines, but nowhere near as beefy inside so when the Caddy guys start adding pulleys etc, they are going to start having some problems.
Glad AMG made our bottom ends pretty stout.
Think the biggest problem I am having now is being able to identify which Caddy is which. I just can't tell them apart so I guess I will treat all as hostile until I can learn the differences.

Doesn't Katech build the previous V race car?

I'm still not sure how I feel about the Caddy's styling. It is certainly different, but the sides of the front just look too plasticy to me. The rear is a little high too, I imagine the rear sight line when backing up is horrible. I commend Cadillac for stepping up and playing in the European's game. Not to mention, all of that horsepower!

I hope they improved the rear-end. I have a near 600 HP Lingenfelter CTS-V and it was chewing up rear-ends even while it was stock. I am on my 7th rear-end now. GM builds crap! I'm buying a new ZR1, it's my last chance for GM, If I have any problems with it I will never buy another GM product for myself or my business.

They have. Cadillac knew all too well the rears were crap and wouldn't begin to hold up to the new power. GM has definitely improved. I just bought a new Tahoe LTZ to replace my Yukon (finally the Chevy front clip looks better than the GMC), and I like this truck a lot.

I am glad I am not the only one who thought that for the last 10yrs. It always boggled my mind why the slightly cheaper GMC's would look way better than the more expensive Chevy-branded versions, but they sure did!

I always thought the CTS-V were much lighter than their German counterparts , but in this case it doesn't seem to be. I just looked up the weight of CTS-V on their website and it stated 4200 lbs for manual and 4300 lbs for automatic. This should be a good competitor to the E63 and M5 (or at least before they start modding them to the ZR1 level).

You are correct, every cadillac I've seen they all look alike. To tell the difference if its the CTS-V if you see the V emblem on the side front doors and the front grill which I believe its different from the previous model years

(I don't know if CTS-V has it)

There are some other subtle differences, but you would have to own one to really notice. The V hav brake cooling ducts under the fog/driving lights. The entire front bumper cover is different as well. Much larger diameter tail pipes as well.

my a$$, they warrantied the first 2 and half, then the rest were on me. They voided my warranty for exhaust and an intake mod. So I said WTF, I'm going to build it big and fast. I finally put a really rear-end in the car, no problems for 5000 miles with 588 hp at the wheels.
I'm sure I will break the ZR1 too.

but high rpm torque will help keep the monster moving.
Our e55's have low end.. but the torque curve takes a dive after 4.5k rpms or so.. that when the HP takes over.
the ideal torque band would be a flat torque line and increasing hp curve.
The E63 has that type of hp/tq figure, but the 7sp auto is not that aggressive as we would like.
The CTS-V will have a 6 auto with the gearing of the corvette, which is pretty good and it has an LSD
the CTS-V will be able to out muscle a stock E55
both modded.. I give the edge to the CTS-V. More parts available to the LS3 and cheaper.
Its a great car and probably priced very aggressively.

HP is nothing more than a function of tq and rpm. All it means is that the tq in theory is sustained over a specific rpm range. I guess what you're really saying is that the V has a wider RPM range?
