Just curious about the current value of my car

it's 2004 E55 with lot of mods.
I have about 55,000 miles.
just curious about the current value.
any idea?
I would love to get something above $50,000.
I've been looking for a new car, but im not sure if i want to sell my E55. (I love it!)
All the mods are listed in my sig..

Thats alot of miles from a buyers perspective.Also the modifications add little to the value of the car unless the buyer is actually looking for them in particular even though I personally know your car is very fast

There's a '05 Black E55 CPO w 15,000mi at my dealer mint condition&they're asking $53k for it and it's been sitting for a month....
Private buyer,I'd say $40-45,000
Trade in mid to hi $30s

2005 E55
Your best bid is to part out the mods. You'll get more money back that way.

Do you have extended warranty? Just skimming through the ads, I think the price w/ vs. w/o warranty is quite big ($2-3K+).

I agree w/ parting out....
TB = $1000?
Cooling Kit = $500?
LSD = $1500?
Eisenmann = $1000?
C20 + tires = $3500?
CF Lip = $200?
Klee pulley = $600?
Header (I think stage 2 includes header, right?) = $1500?
==> TOTAL parts = ~$10K? minus labor ($1K?) = $9K

If you sell the car for $45K, you've got $54K already... or the other way around, if you want to get $50K, you just need to sell the car for $41K, which is VERY doable (a bit too low, IMO).

Joon, your E55 is a masterpiece. Now that Jody and Frank left, you have to hold down the fort

What would you get to replace that car?

Good luck with whatever happens bro!

That car is beautfitul. Dont sell it. At least 2 days a week I think to myself "why did I sell my E55". For what I got for it, I would have been better off keeping it.

Thanks Frank.
Do u really regret your decision?
i guess more power/performance is not always good~
But, i see what you mean tho...
P-car is no good for everyday driving~
E55, you could drive the heck out of it 24/7 plus it's more comfortable and
easy to drive fast
Just make sure you call me as soon as the project is done and take me out for
craziest spin in SleeperX style~

............At that price, your car which is one year older and out of warranty will be more expensive than a 2005 CL65 with less miles and a warranty.MB resale market sucks for the seller. If you wait another 6 months the car will be worth even less. With MB's best to buy used and drive it till it dies. If you have to sell, sell quickly. Each day you hessitate is money down the drain in loss value.

Sorry Joon,I hope I didn't offend you.I asked my buddy to give me the Manheim Auction numbers on my 63 just last week&he was throwing figures at me starting at $60,000 for an '07 E63 w 8500miles
I asked him about '05 E55's and he said $30's,so thats what I based my answer on

Well,if you do decide to sell it ya gotta take me for a ride as I've only been in a stock E55&I gotta see how fast they really are modded

if you love it why sell? specially since "upgrading" or "switching cars" will cost more due to the higher depreciation that occured on the e55
is it really worth it?
