Is the part# different for the ROW suspension control module? I wonder if since the ride height is lower they get stiffer damper settings via the control module.

No the stiffness of the system is controlled by the air bladder for the spring and the shock valving. The ecu controls right height and it adjusts the valves on the air spring and the stiffness of the shock to an extent. When MB has different stiffness settings they have different shocks.
The Nurburgring suspension kit for the E55 had shocks and upgraded bushings not just an upgraded ecu.
I tried to do this to my E55 back in the day but that suspension upgraded costs 10k.
