DVD editing problems? Help!

I have a DVD of my 10.58@132 run but there are problems using windows media player or my other DVD run program to edit out my run. Anyone have suggestions or software advice to fix this issue? This is definitely out of my comfort zone and the DVD has over 2hours of stuff on it so it is too large to e-mail and I cannot figure out how to piece meal this thing. Please help! Thanks. I also have footage of when my car breaks if you want to hear what an axle half-shaft sounds like when it snaps.

Convert the entire VOB file with a video conversion software. Then use Windows Movie maker to make a new WMV or AVI edit.

So put the disk in the computer, download a convertor. I use xilisoft DVD ripper. You can select the chapters you wish to convert. Or simply convert the entire VOB to an WMV or AVI then edit it , you just need to get it into MPEG format
