My cousin is thinking of getting stage 1.What's the good price out of the door installed?
Can you tell a different stock vs.stage1? I'm in So.Cal area.
Thank you

Well, $2500 and the install charges and the separate dyno charges. I only say this because a newbie's expectation to get the pulley tune would be $2500, and then he'll be hit with install and if he wants the tune tweaked specifically to what his car is doing, he is gonna need the dynos, right? So, all of a sudden he is paying 25% more than the original $2500. Not that it isn't an outstanding price and one I am willing to pay, I just want to be clear since I am a newbie at modding the E55. :bag:

The difference is obvious in my opinion. The car pulls stronger quicker off the line, and from 50 - 100 it will dominate the stock.
Once you do "stage 1" the next step is to help her breathe better (air box, TB, Headers, exhaust... and of course re-tuning).

I was under the impression that headers don't do a whole lot for our cars, am I mistaken? After the VPR pulley/tune, I was thinking airbox and throttle body at most for my car.

I think you probably will get more hp from the tb and air box, but our headers are fairly restrictive from what I understand. I have seen hp number for headers around the 25 - 35 hp mark, although others can comment who actually have headers and don't just wish they had headers.

Yeah, I've seen pictures of chiromikey's exhaust and it is quite impressive. And I'm talking about the car...
