Dyno with ASP pulley

1st dyno is with johnson pump/K&N filters. 2nd dyno is with the asp pulley added. As you can see heat soak is a major issue. The torque increase is great but even driving the car you can feel the power hit a wall at higher rpms. The torque really dosent get affected by the heat but the horsepower does. Hopefully when I put my larger heat exchanger on I should get my hp back and alot more. Here is the link to my previous dyno https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/238794-dynoed-my-e55-today.html

Wish you had some stats on timing. Bet it's yanking timing on you as well.

When cash is right, get that ECU flashed and she'll perk up nice too.

im gonna dyno again when I get the heat exchanger on and if im still not making the hp I should im gonna have to go with a ECU. But im pretty happy with my torque numbers.

Your worst nightmare...
My suggestion is a Massive Heat exchanger and a nice little tune. That will make her feel super alive...

torque is super strong.

Let us know once you have the LET installed.

It's exactly as expected and discussed in the previous thread. You gain a little low end torque due to the increased boost but you lose power up top where the untuned ECU dumps fuel (look at the AFR dive just before 5K RPMs) and probably pulls timing too. Losing power doesn't seem worth it ... you need the tune. The load limiting issue has been well documented by Vadim in the VRP tuning threads I thought. I don't think the HE (although still a great idea) will change this picture.

Ok, will see. Wasnt the loading problem only on the 06's?

My understanding is that it's on any car that got flashed by MB with the secondary air-pump flash. I don't know when the campaign started, but if your car has been to the dealer at all in a while it probably got flashed. You should in theory be able to dig through the records and find out if it's been done. I think it was a mandatory campaign that they would do pretty much without even asking you unless you very specifically asked them not to do it.
