I'm running Roger's on my car right now. the weights are almost identical at about ~29 lbs. Keep in mind that both are made of the same CAST aluminum metal and the E63 runs a half inch wider rim in the front.

Sorry I missed this thread earlier. I had a chance to weight the E55 rims at a local tuning shop 2 years ago and found out that....

E55 OEM rear rim weight = 32 to 33 lbs
E63 OEM rear rim weight = 30 to 31 lbs

Don't know about the fronts of either car.

No, these weights are not for P30, I was only referring to the regular E63 rims without Performance Package.

Oh, sorry I thought you were thinking I weighed the P30 rims. No, sorry I never weighed my rims yet. I'll probably do that on my next tire change. I'll keep you updated

fyi fedex delivered the wheels at wheel svc center today. fedex had each box (4) weight at 31lbs. would guess the packing/box is minimal to this calc. for total weigh-in. thx.

So even the front rims weighted at 31 lbs? I would've thought a bit lighter?

My guess would be that the P30 rims are heavier, but lets see. My fronts are only a few pounds lighter than the rears, even though they are an inch narrower. There is more meat on the hub side, though.

...won't bother with the other 3 pc weigh-ins, but if do simple division, seems ~34 lbs. do have new set of lugs for all wheels that are part of shipment, so not sure how it's packed as additive to final tally. anyway, the depature weigh-n w/ track number said 31lbs for each pc., but delivery at fedex local station states a bit more. anyway, fair to say prob 32-33lbs, or so. interestingly, K1 Motorsport relayed they thought ~29lbs per wheel. install is tomorrow.

Very interesting, so different scales yielded slightly different results. When I was at the tuner shop, the 2004 E55 rims weighted 33.8 lbs but the scale was accurate to + or - 2 lbs. However, I did confirm with a couple of other people who weighted their rims also at the 33 lbs mark.

Any chance you can take one of the rear rims to a UPS or FedEx location?
