When the Renntech DLM was installed, did the tech do a continuity check on each wire??

Its important that there is a clean signal when you splice and connect the wires.. its possible you might have a lose or poor connection on one of them..

I would have someone check over the work and make sure something didnt wiggle lose.. You DEFINITELY do not want this happening when you are travelling 100mph.

It does that if you have it dropped low and hit a dip in the road. I would assume says it is "normal". Also, they stipulate that only settings above 3 can be used for driving?

I drive with the Renntech ELM set to 2/2/3 and Sport 1, sometimes Sport 2. No problems.

Depends on my mood. I drop it as low as it will go sometimes and raise it to stock others.

Vegas - how did you fit that 285 back there? I'm running 275s on a 10.5" rims and it barely clears.

I had my tuning shop do a very aggressive fender roll. Also, had to shave off 3mm from the 20x10 rear wheels.

yeah. go see darwin at sonic MS. he did a very agressive fender roll on my BMW M3 as well to clear 285/30/19s on the dinans with a pretty slammed ground control race suspension.

hes good with the roller.

Actually, Darwin installed my Renntech ELM and he recommended going with T1Rs if I wanted to run a 285. He never mentioned anything about rollling the fenders. The other problem is that Toyo is back ordered on that tire for several months now, and I am in need of a new set of rubber.

Also, aren't the rear fenders already rolled from the factory?

Vegas - I think I saw you today in SSF on Westborough, what's with the blue tape?

There are two reasons why I needed my rear fenders rolled.

1. Offsets of the Radenergie R10 for W211 are very aggressive. I had to shave off 3mm from the hub.
2. I insisted on Falken FK452 which has reinforced sidewalls with the tire sizes I'm running: 245/30/20 and 285/25/20. FK452 have square sidewall compared to the rounded T1Rs.

That was me on Westborough with the blue tape. The blue tape is to protect the car from rock chips and bugs on I-5. I'm leaving to go back home to San Diego tomorrow morning. My time in the Bay Area is done for now.
