Offset Question - PLEASE help...
I am seriously considering buying these rims:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...220382147&rd=1
Wheels specs:
20x8.5 et28mm (or 32mm for front) and 20x10 et42mm
Admittedly, I don't know much about proper offsets. PLEASE tell me if this rim will work on my 2004 E55. I plan on lowering with Renntech ELM just enough to close the gap.
TIA...

You won't have an issue.
The front may be slightly too agressive. Worst case, you could shave some of the inner wheel. It all also depends on the tires you run. The overall diameter better be the same or smaller, or the front will rub.
The rear, 42 is actually pretty deep in. It will be fine, even with 295s. Again, the overall diameter matters, but not as critical as in the front.

Same final overall diameter as the oem setup. The new rim and tire MUST be very close (in height, not width) to the OEM setup (245/40/18) to make sure that you do not rub. The fronts rub on the very top and when you have the wheel turned.
Hope that helps
