Before heading over to the track rental at Moroso last night I headed over to RENNtech to have them install their shorty headers and tune the car. The car picked up 22 HP and 9 pounds of torque at the wheels from the headers. The car put down 473.8 rwhp and 538.2 pounds of torque.

My first few runs at Moroso were my best, with my new personal best (barely) of 11.662 @ 119.74 MPH, 1.75 60' on my half-worn Pilot PS2's. I ran the GTEC pro RR during that run, it showed a 0-60 time of 3.4 seconds....

My quickest trap speed of the night was 120.92. Temp for the 11.662 run was 74 degrees. As the night went on the weather cooled down to about 67, but by that time the track prep deteriorated for street tires and I couldn't get any traction at all. One run I was sideways heading over to the other lane....

My previous best 11.668 was without the headers, but it was 54 degrees for that run, with some better weather and track prep my "should" hit 11.5x, we'll see....

Here is my updated dyno graph, timeslip with a video of the 11.6 run....

here is the sideways botched launch video...

I weighed the car before running at 4100 pounds even. We also weighed an E55 with more options, pano roof, trunk closer, etc, similar amount of gas and it was 4240.....

11.66 @ nearly 120 and a 3.4 second 0-60 time (sounds right, too) is phenominal!

All for a "big 4-door pig", too!

What were some of the reactions from the crowd/other drivers?
