Its great. It improves driveability especially in traffic. Makes the car more responsive and nibble.

Got mine off Ebay from "partsexporter" ... he did a group buy some time back IIRC.

Ebay store is here:

http://stores.ebay.com/Parts-Exporter-Store

then search for AMG in the search box.

Super quick shipping (like 3 days from Hong Kong using a tracked shipment)

HIGHLY recommended...

hey jangy, would u recommend the sprint booster w/ the VRP mods? Will it be hard to modulate the gas with the added mods? I just picked up my E55 few months back & been looking on this boards to see how the VRP results come out in terms of reliabilty/tuning outcomes.

I tried it a little after the mods, but now I have it off and usually run the car in S mode. I felt like the SB was making my downshifts sooner.

No, you want to get the non-AMG version like I have. The AMG version is toned down a bit or you wouldn't be able to drive an E55 without causing the traction control to come on all the time. The non-AMG version is great, kinda makes my E500 feel like my old E55 off the line, somewhat at least, lol...Great mod!

In what ways does the SB improve driveablility? Does it just make it faster and more responsive? Does it make the ride rougher? Thanks

It just kills the lag time when you punch it and makes the pedal way more sensitive. It takes a few minutes to get used to it but it's fun! No HP gains at all but it sure feels like it, lol. Fun/cheap mod for some quick throttle response...

I'd agree that it is a cool little thing for the money. On mine, it got to where it was ramping and snatching the SC clutch. Sometimes that herky jerky is cool, but not since it was tuned. The lag is back, though although the tune did help.

i had it on both cars and love it..

but sold it since it made my MPG go way down.. and my E55 with pulley only.. neded a bigger heat exchanger therefore I ran too hot all the time.

Now that my E is running perfect (waiting for the ECU)

I'll probably going to try it once more...
