Shorty Header Comparison
Has anyone tested the weight and internal volume of any of the aftermarket headers vs the OEM logs?
George and I played with the VRP logs and they were 4lbs each (OEM's were almost 7). That saves an amazing 6lbs, I know but just curious. Next, we did the water test. Each of the VRP logs held 1200cc of water vs 900cc for the OEM ones. Larger diameter tubes (in and out) and that small sump seem to be doing something. Now, for the dyno results.
