Car Options...
As I just mentioned in my previous post, I'm turning in my 55 in a few months. And as much as I loved it, I like change. So, now the question is what comes next? I'd probably be looking to spend somewhere between $75-$125k (whether I lease or buy...). It could be used (let's say '05 forward) or new.
Current contenders are:
Maserati Granturismo (or Quattroporte)
Corvette Z06 (maybe even ship it off to Lingenfelter or Mallett)
(Used) Bentley Continental GT
Dodge Viper
BMW M6
As you can see, I'm all over the frickin' board. I'm just looking for more suggestions I may not have considered...Each car has something that I like...and don't like...so, I'm having a big problem finding "that car"...
The problem is I like luxury, performance, and a head turner...and I'm cheap (otherwise I'd be in an F430).
Advice?

Yeah, I've definitely had a few people mention that even as just a daily summer car, the viper can be brutal. I live in New England so my "fun" car stays in the garage for 75% of the winter days. I'd imagine the Z06 would be a little easier as a daily driver, but not the same as the Maserati or Bentley. But, then again, the performance of those cars won't match the Z06. Also, the Z06 isn't really an uncommon car around here. I like the idea of having something a little different than everyone else (unlike CA and FL, Mass. isn't littered with Ferarris, Lambos, Maseratis, Bentleys, etc.)

Fair enough, but I truly don't have a preference right now. I finally convinced my wife that my kids haven't seen the light of the E55 in the 2+ years I've owned it, so I've gotten the official 2-door ban lifted. Having said that, if it's a sharp car, I really don't lean towards 2 or 4 door...I'm more worried about performance, luxury, looks (outside of 2/4dr), etc. I also have no preference between hard top or convert. Although, I dislike soft tops, so the convert would have to be a folding hard top...

No luxury in Vette/Viper, plain inside, etc....
Continental GT is fantastic, BEAUTIFUL interior...
The GranTurismo looks great, but isn't very fast.
If you get Quattroporte, make sure to get an automatic....

I definitely wouldn't be mad at triple black, but I just haven't quite grown to love the CLS "bubble" yet. I've gotten "used to it", but I don't love it just yet.

Driven and/or owned all your suggestions, nothing does it for me like the AMGs. I sold my '03 and was back in an '05 before I knew it.
It seems like in your particular situation, with two SUVs, the 4 door sedan is a bit unnecessary, so may I suggest taking an SL65 for a drive.

Noted. I just think that design and the lines are a work of art. Had the back seat had more room, I would have one. Personal preference I guess. Then as stated above, check out the SL.
