thanks for sharing i hope they slap some turbos on this v8, because i heard from another board the new M5 will be v10 turbo similiar to the new Audi RS6. I really like the front end & overall style of the new E.

like wise.....I was hoping for a TT, but it looks like the "63" is here to stay...at least for a while...who's to say they can't use a destroked version of this engine for the TT?

These are the latest spy shots, from Germany, which reveal the 2009 Mercedes E63 AMG in close detail. The new super-saloon from Mercedes will have a 6.2-litre V8 and around 550bhp.
The new E63 could be the company’s last big super saloon, due to new emission laws AMG will have to resort to smaller turbocharged engines, diesel motors and even hybrid technology.

There will be several versions of the new force-fed 5.0L mill, a base version with 570hp and 665lb-ft of torque to replace the 6.2L V8"
