New VR550 dyno

DFW Auto Club had dyno day today and I of course went, there were 12 cars there. This was the first dyno I've had done since I replaced the stock air filters and had the ECU flash corrected. It was done at Classic BMW on their dyno dymanics machine, not a dynojet. It put down a healthy 451 HP which took the 'prize' for most HP for the day, not to mention TQ. Temp outside was 88 degrees.

Didn't you read the thread title? VRP pulley and tune. Wonder what it would do on a dynojet as the dyno dynamics put out much lower numbers.

Those seem like pretty strong numbers for 88 degrees. It must have bugged the BMW dealer to see the highest numbers go to MB, wish I went, we could have had 2 podium spots.

What did the M5's top out at?

401 was the best for the M5s. There was an Alpina B7 that did 420.

Just refresh my memory, did you notice a difference after yo re flashed your tune?

and did you have a dyno for the older tune?

I noticed a big difference after the retune. Before I had it redone the max HP on a dynojet was 445 and 432 on a dyno dynamics.

Pics of the dyno event if anyone is curious. There was someone taking video but they didn't get a video of my run and dyno results.

Hmmmm, the MB wins the hp shootout at the BMW dealer dyno day and there's no film.

Hmmmm, I wonder ....
