hey
How well is the e55 amg in the snow? Would it be able to get through 1-5 in without a problem with snow tires? Or will it have difficulty?
Anyone who has tried please let me know asap. I am about to buy a e55 amg, and i may need it once and a while in the snow...

here's the dyno result...

u need to add 10% since their dyno is off by 10%...
this can be verified by peter and mike who also dyno'ed their cars during dyno day last year (my 1st of 3 visits)...

I don not own an E55 but would say that it wouldn't be the ideal Michigan winter cruiser. With good winter tires it should be managable, but with that much power it may not be too much fun. I don't drive my car in the snow or salt, I will however take it for a spin on days where the road is completely dry and salt free.

I wouldn't say the E55 is a great winter car, but i drive mine on Blizzaks for 5 months of the year...it is more than capable.

Leave it in C mode and do not, i repeat, DO NOT turn ESP OFF on snow or ice in an E55. I've never seen a car do an absolutely uncontrollable 180 faster than an E55.

Toronto and Montreal are pretty far east. I'm in the middle of the prairies in Regina, Saskatchewan. I'm closer to Cali than i am to Toronto.
