Just got steel carter plate installed by steve aka MBenzNL last weekend...
7-year streak is still alive...
mine has air vents but pretty much looks like this one...

Hey MJ I read your whole thread..i must say this is one of my favorite 211. Like all the mods you did bro..i'm ususally on the 203 forum. Been researching a lot about 211's...you just gave me a lot of ideas just in case i decide to upgrade when i move back to the bay area next year...Nice ride man!

Maintenance update:
P0410 CEL - replaced electric air pump under warranty
replaced front control arms & bushings under warranty
steering gear bolts replaced and retorqued under warranty
craftshaft position sensor replaced under warranty
alignment with distronic adjustment - $199
