got front windshield tinted over the weekend...
i was debating between F1 and Johnson film and decided to go with Johnson InsulatIR 70...

dunno why i didn't do this sooner...

So you got the 71% film? How much was it installed? Back in the days on my W210 55, I had 35% tint on the windshield lol. It was great for privacy...not so much for night driving and CHP wasn't too fond of it either.

yea, regular price is $160 installed...
this is definitely cop-friendly...

Not a cheap mod, in comparison to other tint places. Is the film special compared to solarguard/3m and the likes?

F1 tint was $120 installed by a shop in La Habra...
i got a discount for my tint so it's all good...

Johnson has IR reflection on top of UV protection...
that was the main reason i chose Johnson over F1...
