Trunk lid spoiler
Anyone know the best place to buy a trunklid spoiler? Should I get the OEM or is there a better one to consider?

Also, any input on K&N airfilters for the E55? I've had them on my prevous cars but I would imagine the E55 already has performance airfilters....

You can get the spoiler on ebay and k&n filters defiantly help. What part of FL are you in?

It comes with the same paper filters as in many of the V8 motors.

Spoilers: you have many options, but I would recommend getting the MB or AMG one for the W211. The MB one is a 3 piece that comes primed and the AMG is the one that comes on the E63. It can be ordered in any E63 color or you can paint it again once you get it. The fakes are just that.

Great! And there is no difference in the shape of the trunk lid on the E63 right?

I have never actually tested it, but many on this board have bought them and it worked out fine. my guess is that the lines are identical where it matters. I believe they were about $400 painted.

I've got one still unpainted that I never got around to getting on my car. You can have it for around $200 if you want it. It's one of the E63 lips from Eurotech (sp?), a sponsor on this board. I did a dry fit and it looked great. PM me if you're interested.

Way south? maybe just a hair south..... Sarasota is almost straight accross from Palm beach on the west coast. I'm on the water in a small town south of Sarasota.....
