Intake psi?
Funny, I have a biotech datalogger with the pressure, but not one or the car. I want to buy a nice datalogger anyway and wondered if anyone recommends one that has pressure sensors (or optional) as well?
Last thing, is an air flow meter realistic? That would really tell, since I can monitor temp and humidity, too.
If so, you would need a minimum of 2 pressure transducers and a meter.
This would probably cover your needs:

Seriously, look into HVAC suppliers for your pressure meter needs. Ebay has a unit with 2 inputs for cheap:

Here's another 2-input unit.
Search for "manometer" and make sure you have the appropriate PSI range for your needs.
I think some dataloggers that have OBDII ports also have the same add on abilities and was wondering which (if any) people recommend?
The biggest, noticeable changes came in throttle response and rates of acceleration (not necessarily big HP improvements, but increased spooling response of turbos, etc...)

"DashDyno reads sensors from the vehicle ECU using the OBD II port. However, sometimes its desirable to add a custom sensor of your choosing or measure on-board vehicle sensor directly. For instance, measuring turbo boost pressure using an external intake manifold pressure sensor.
DashDyno is expandable and equipped with two auxiliary ports allowing easy connection of external sensors. The auxiliary ports have four analog inputs, one digital input, and one digital output. Each analog input is range selectable between 0-6V, 0-12V and 0-24V.
The formula feature is used to apply a conversion scale factor and offset to convert voltage to another units of measure.
All data can be viewed on-screen, recorded to an SD card, and analyzed on a PC. "

I have used their windows-based datalogging software, and it works well.

thanks for the lead. is this the best brand for just an enthusiast user?
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
The PC-based stuff doesn't have the extra sensor input feature.
AUTO TAP is Satan and I am begging you to stay away from it.
Also learned super fast through this whole process that OBDII is just the worst with our cars Jang. If you have the laptop monitor just ONE sensor, you get a few samples per sec, 2 sensors and you get less per sec and so on. Basically you are able to monitor bout 4 or maybe 5 and get a sample maybe every second, sometime every .75sec.
It just the speed we are stuck with on the ole Benz. Lot of reports online of OBDII guys getting lots and lots of samples per sec, but I have tried 2 different systems and same results each time. Auto Eng just is an entirely better system. Easier to use, more modern looking and TON more features.
Just some info from a guy that pulled all his hair out fighting the OBDII war only to find out I could never win it.

Thanks, I'm on it.
