I thought the same thing... BUT...
Who in their right mind is gonna take their Jag (or Benz) to a Best Buy for an install?
I would think the factory stereo would be sufficient or they would go more high end?
OTOH, you might be right...

I called Brockton BB around dinner time and spoke with the car shop crew, and they said no one there matched the names. So who knows?

I got wind of this page from E90post.com. I am glad I did because this F'in guy got me for some wheels/tires for my 3 series earlier in May. I filed a dispute against him with American Express. I've contacted google checkout and DHL as well. This guy used the same exact scheme on me with fake pics, DHL, aliases, false phone numbers, etc. I've already talked to Timeless on the phone today. Our stories are so similar it's ridiculous.

Here is his thread from E90post
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=141193

He had an identical thread on bimmerfest as well. Pictures were stolen.

Glad to see the car enthusiast community rally and help those who were scammed. Lord willing, I will get my money back soon thanks to our cooperative efforts. Keep it up!

Not yet, but im sure the cops are watching this thread. Nothing would give me more pleasure to see this scumbag scammer go down. Its people like him that make it hard for legit sellers to sell things.

Amex has a good fraud policy for their customers... but after you get a either a chargeback or refund, don't back down. Press the charges... Now you see how a repetitive scammer this crook is! Multiple counts on many different violations. He's in BIG trouble once the authorities apprehend him.

hey Phil - if I write up a good summary of the events so far, is there a way we can put it somewhere so it's easy to reference?

A member both here and on my home forum (Clublexus.com) posted this link; nice detective work all.

This guy caused similar issues on Club Lexus and I've just suspended his account (his last log in was May 5 after shutting down several spamming Jaguar threads of his, including one with the same pictures posted here).

His screen name on Club lexus was andsimp2 and I haven't compared his IP addresses to those listed here but I'm certain many will match up.

A little googling with that screen name finds him doing ebay / google checkout research here on the 'ebay suspensions forum' http://www.aspkin.com/forums/credit-...ats-steps.html

Also looks like an applicant to Howard Law 2007 , from this post he might need it

Yea I found that too, I think I posted it back on page 5 of 600 lol

Someone REALLY needs to make a cliff notes sticky thread thats locked with all the current info on the guy without any other posts.

Then we can focus on what info we have and take the next step.
