I just talked to my credit card company and the credit has not been posted yet. I do believe it is in the works since Timeless got his. No matter, I disputed the charge quick enough so that the funds were not disbursed. The scammer voluntarily crediting the charge just makes it easier.

e1000, good write up bud. 1sicA4 was not a victim however, he was the scammer. Just a heads up for a correction.

JESUS!!!!

Nice work gentlemen!!!!

Chiming in from the W208 section and CA.com.

We have this scamming **** go on ALL THE TIME over on caraudio.com, and we have taken out/exposed many just like this, but not to the extent you guys have

Keep on 'em and examples like this is what will discourage MF from doing this type of thing........especially on a MB forum.

Suggestion:

It is obvious that these scammers are moving from one car forum to another working what is basically the same scam. This guy is a great example of that.

Purhaps it would be a good idea to set up a forum to act as a clearing house of known scam information? This would make it possible for people to spot these scams more quickly and maybe result in more people being caught and fewer people getting ripped off.

hey guys, i read all 32 pages of this last night and decided to join this morning. came over here from e90post, and tahoeforum.com.

i think it's great what you guys have done. let this set the example of how people can join together and pool all information and use our resources to come up with the guy. people think they can't be caught, but they can, and they will.

great job guys!

that's a good idea, unfortunately no matter how many stickies you put up, there will always be someone that doesn't read them, ignores them, or just goes ahead with a transaction without taking 2 secs to check more into seller history, question low post count sellers on any forum.

these 2 individuals have been preying on buyers for years now, knowing that they either get paid twice for a product or once for sure from DHL.
i wouldn't be suprised to hear that they know someone working at a DHL location, just like they know someone working at that Best Buy and had access to customer cars.
i've read the whole thread last night, and there's been some questionable posts from new members in this thread that almost sounded like they were posting trying to create diversion or false lead, some even had close names to email aliases he used in the past.

one more note: be careful how you laugh at them and call them stupid, they might sound stupid, immature, etc. but think about it, they've been at it for years, that doesn't make the buyers look good at all.
i'm glad someone has started putting all the dots together, the ones that have been always there, but never put together.

ps: this reminds me of "Untraceable" movie, more and more people log in to see the death (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0880578/)

i vote E1000 for president for his blog ;p
Eric and Sofia would make a great couple in the oval office

WOW!!! Fantastic job guys congradulations to everybody!!! This thread should be a sticky to the classifieds page to serve as a warning to anyone who is thinking of scaming people!

I just have one question; was the police notified? There seems to be enough information to put this guy in.

06' Civic SI :-p
Hey guys, another person from the USDM Civic SI forums (8thcivic.com).

We hate scamers too guys. I have some pretty deep connections at Best Buy (plennnnty of friends have worked there, one for corporate).

Does anyone have that Best Buy store number (not the phone number, the actual store #). If we can find it, we could easily get him fired.

Checking in from LHForums.net also. Just to help clarify something as well, somebody mentioned the fact that the founder of our site seemed kind of suspect because he was vouching for that used parts website from CT. I'll vouch for 00R/T myself. If anybody really wants, just google my screen name. You'll find thousands of posts and years of history on 300mclub.org and dodgeintrepid.net.

That being said, I'm watching this thread as well, this is good stuff. I'm from the RI area (no, I don't wanna go by his house) and am waiting to see something good come from this. Good luck to those who are actively pursuing this clown to be taken down.

DO NOT SEND PIZZA!

I know we have a dislike of a scammer, but this doesn't help the cause. To help, we need to find out who he has scammed.

His nuts are in a vice and every few minutes someone from this board walks over and gives the handle a little twist. That's about it, we're just waiting for that ever-so-satisfying "pop"
