1.Thanks to all on all the other forums who helped out in this track down!
2.The picture of them sitting around was the one that I have seen before last year on their myspace page.
3. Does anyone have the myspace picture of Billy Smith? last time i viewed his "private page" his icon had the car with the pink lights in it and looked at another picture of him standing beside it
4. too all who were scammed, I'm sorry i did not post this up last year after looking into it myself, once i got my money back I just listed all his known screen names.
5.Being college grads, they will have their lives ruined by this type of thing on their record and will not let them get into the workforce too easily. So all that work in south boston to try and make somthing of themselves to be stupid and do somthing like this---tisk tisk

That's the OS X Leopard Launch-Day Shirt that Apple gave away free to the general public for the first few hundred customers at all Apple Stores nationwide back in Oct. 26, 2007 during the retail release of Leopard. Apple employee shirts are different from that particular one - whether he was a Mac Specialist, Creative, or Genius. Therefore, that shirt he was wearing in that Facebook pic shows he is an Apple fanboy, but it is NOT an employee shirt/uniform at all. To add to that however is that it's a stronger possibility now that he is/was an Apple employee at one of the local stores in the Boston area... but if not, he's still an Apple fanboy.

One thing I forgot to add, last year "billy smith" said to me over the phone after calling him stupid that he "graduated from Boston U" this was last year, so maybe he did????? or it is one of the fool's father's or aliases

Also, of his 98 friends, 40 work at 'Apple'. Could be worth a shot asking some of these i they've ever even heard of this guy and then move on from there?

Yep thanks! We now know he's a big Apple supporter whether a current employee or not. If so, I don't think Apple would like the way he conducts his personal dealings outside since scams/thefts are strongly discouraged in the retail business. He can be terminated quite easily if they ever find out.... (that is if he still works at Apple)

EDIT: I can't double check my "facts" bc I'm at work now and they have Facebook on lock down, but I remember when I was playing a joke on my friends right after graduating I tried to join Etrade like that, but it asked for a company email they could send a confirmation to and it wouldn't accept anything bogus.
PS: Everybody, don't go adding this guy as a friend to view his info. Simply join the Boston regional network. Again, I can't be sure his profile isn't set to private from that network because I'm at work, but if his Myspace wasn't private I am doubting his Facebook is.

I assume that all the proper authorities have been contacted. Can you give us any feedback as to the police reactions when you presented all of the evidence? Does it appear any or all of them are taking this seriously and investigating it on their own? I know you can not devulge too many details for fear of compromising the investigation, but what was your personal take on the cops/authorities reaction/view of these incidents? Do you think arrestes are going to be made?
