He definitely has an iPhone as evidenced on that pic with his green jacket and leopard shirt. You can tell since the earbuds he's using is specifically for the iPhone. Which could mean.... he can also use the Apple Store's free wifi to post online and conduct scams straight from his iPhone. We all know wifi is way faster than Edge's capability so it makes sense for him to utilize the wifi there at work. And he doesn't necessarily need to be working while posting since he can stand right outside the store and conduct all his web scams and such... You know, he's probably reading all the threads anyway since he can access the forums almost anytime & anywhere.
I'm already 99% sure this is the case, since a pile of the IP's traced back to Cambridge but we know he goes to school in Bridgewater and lives in Brockton, which aren't close by. But still, actual confirmation would seal the deal...then someone can draft a letter to the store manager, or Apple corporate.
It would also be beneficial if this gets done before he shows up for work today, so he won't have time to do anything to cover his tracks.

I assume that all the proper authorities have been contacted. Can you give us any feedback as to the police reactions when you presented all of the evidence? Does it appear any or all of them are taking this seriously and investigating it on their own? I know you can not devulge too many details for fear of compromising the investigation, but what was your personal take on the cops/authorities reaction/view of these incidents? Do you think arrestes are going to be made?

I came over here from Glock Talk. I am a Deputy with a Sheriffs Dept down here in Ga. I work with the fugitive task force here at my dept. I read though that scam alert thread and I have to say I am impressed. Normally when we go after people we have all of their information and it takes a ton of work to track down their location. You guys (and gals) had almost nothing to go on and in a matter of days had just about everything you needed to find the guy.

Good suggestion. If someone does I ask that he does not post for several hours under his user name as that will override the IP since its kinda FIFO. We would post an all clear once we have. Please let one of us mods know if you are planning on doing this for traceability.

True, but as an Apple employee it's a strong possibility it's an iPhone. Especially considering many Apple employees got free iPhones when it was launched last summer - this was well publicized in the news/media. Good suggestion though- he has either a Touch or iPhone to get on the web anytime (but the Touch needs wifi for web access).
