My new E55 ??
Hi!,
I just bought an 04 E55 AMG. Wow what a rocket! It is very very fast. I wanted to know a few things.
1. How can I make sure my oil, engine, and supercharger fluids are ok?
2. If I go full thottle for a while, the car will not boost immidietly after. Almost like the engine/supercharger need to cool down for about 2mins. So I cant WOT, let off then WOT again (the supercharger wont kick on after a WOT run).. Is this normal?

it sounds like your intercooler pump, has gone bad. This is very common in the s55 engines, our superchargers have an electronic clutch which engages and disengages the SC, when the pump goes bad it allows you to do a couple of wot until it gets to hot and then disables the sc until it cools again.

Congrats on your ride. It souinds like your IC pump is going bad. I am having the same trouble, and when I get back from Kuwait later this month I will have it replaced. Do a search for IC pump on the forum to get you updated on this issue. I see alot of guys are replacing their IC pumps with a Johnson pump. Good luck and congrats. Don't forget to post pics when you a chance.

The car is no longer under warranty... I guess i will have to find the best way to deal with this part. Hopefully it is not unsafe to drive?

Search on the board for Johnson CM30. They are about $120 and take 30 minutes to install. No big deal and a great upgrade.

WOW this forum is great! I just need to know where the cheapest place is to buy the part. 
Where do I get the oil changed? Do I need to check the supercharger fluids?
I will get some quality pictures today.
I also want to find a nice lip spoiler. Something classy!
