call juicee, most of us dont mess with corrections and DA calculations. If its hot we expect to run slow, if its colder we expect to run faster

DAMN!!! I never did get a chance to see his car in the aftermath!
Wow! Just glad he was ok after seeing that. All I can remember seeing after his squirly run down the track his tires grabbing at about the 1/8 mie and him jetting across the lanes into the wall at full throttle.

Hahahah, thanks Jayson!! I was going to bed, but decided to pass thru the board man now I have to stay up and post data, lol I also have to give credit to lorenzo for the Nice Kosei with the drags , they are a work of Art!!!

Here is the run down...

My best:

60' 1.800
330 4.948
1/8 7.542
MPH 94.46
1000 9.759
1/4 11.629
MPH 120.31

I was stuck with these times all day so I thought it must be the drag radials..lol!, I just couldn't drop the 60 foots. so Jayson and I decided to swap cars and see results!

Here is Jayson as the driver in my CL65:..

60' 1.723
330 4.859
1/8 7.446
MPH 95.30
1000 9.670
1/4 11.532
MPH 120.32

I give mad credit to J, talk about nailing that 60 footer..., Did I mention this was in 90 degree weather..

I couldn't believe it..I think if a bit cooler weather we should see some sub 11.5 runs...Only fall will tell! There you go Mr Rflow...more inspiration for you to bring on your Biturbo, lol! I hear wispers of a 175 shot!

Ahmad- It was nice hanging out with you today...you kept dissapearing but Jayson and I figured out where you were hanging...at the tower in the AC..lol!! Just kidding bro. Your car is hauling ***...man that thing is a complete sleeper. I don't know Albert..your record might be taken down by this CLK55! Just wait till he drop those cams in...Watch out!

Wow...... which ever calculator you used to calculate that number, I want to say that it is very accurate. My best run in my car was 12.24 @ 115.6 (in my sig) @ 108 DA (from memory), which is almost identical to your car's run....

Great run given the high DA. What type of gas were you running?

Lol...yeah I saw that once I posted was simular to your times.
I did the run around 2:30 pm around 93F where I think it peaked for the day.I was between 1/4 and 3/8 a tank. I was about 65% 93 octane and 35% 104 octane. I only put 2.5 gallons of it in and had atleast 5 gallons of the 93 still.

I was very bummed. My runs were just getting better and better through the day. I had hoped for 1 or 2 more runs and I think I would have beaten my best for the day. It was a fairly solid run, but still have room for improvement.

/me is a bigtime noob for tracking this car. Looking forward to working o this all summer and fall!

Still happy with a 12.55@113 in those conditions!

I have some pics and vids of the early part of the day. One of my SLOW runs and several of other peoples I will post links for later today.

Jay if you recall it was 86-88 before 11 am. My readouts were giving me 93-95 in the peak afternoon at the track.

My DA adjusted numbers were provided by BlackBenz

It was fun hangin out with you too Jody. You have areal beast on your hands with that 65. Once that tune is done you will be in the 10's for sure. Bro, I was never in the tower with the AC, I was all around the track talking to all my friends. I got sunburnt and now I'm sitting at work wondering what to tell my boss since I called in sick yesterday LOL I think Alberts E55 would have gone alot faster in cooler temps. That being said, if the cams do what they are supposed to, I do the headlight intake, and I remove a little weight I should lay claim to the fastest non nitrous 55 title pretty soon

Jeff- That was conservative DA based on the temp being 86. I'm pretty sure we were into the 90's for the most part of the day on the track. So your corrected times would be even better. I can calculate it if you want. We will get you better than corrected times in better weather!

Jody your car is a beast and just needs to get the tires HOT to allow a killer 60' With a bit more practice you will have her in mid 1.60's easy Since we swapped cars, who dont you post what you ran in my car, hahaha just teasing man. It was great having you down again brother.

For a DA of 2400 your best numbers corrected are: 12.19 @ 116.3mph I dont know your exact trap so I just plugged in 113mph

Do you know if anyone got an exact temp readout at the track? My instrument cluster showed well into the 90's throughout the day but thats not very accurate

I don't post what I ran in your car because it would make me look like a horrible driver! lol!! In you car I ran a 12.2 at 122…with a sixty footer of 2.20 or some sort..lol! Your car is a MONSTER, the thing pulls like a freight train man!!, complete opposite from my car, I am telling you!! At the line I thought I could control it…no way, I forgot you were in street tires and for the heck of it...I shut down ESP, lol! I admit it takes a lot of skills to launch and nail the times you nailed in it.

All this talk of DA's....make you guys sound like Left Coasters...

I really wanted to get out there yesterday....it sounds like you guys had a blast. I really need to practice my launching and figure out the best ESP strategy.
