its in my signature. obsidian black, the only problem i got is that the damn body shop that i go to didnt do a good job and theres mad rock chips everywhere on my front. but i will say that it looks really good. it should look alright in silver becuase i usually see some silver e55's with the cl star grill and from a far it looks pretty good, also my cousin did his grill white on his white E and it looked good. one thing he did on his that i loved on it that you should try is taking apart the grill and paint the inserts black and the outside silver or grey. he had his with black inserts and white on the outside face. it looked really good.

This is exactly what I wanted to do to my grill, very nice!

The problem is that many tell me that the paint will chip as it will not adhere well to the chromed plastic. Have you had any paint chip issues so far?

If you don't mind me asking what is the price range to have the grill painted like that?

I have had a few rock chips but its nothing too major. Like if u look in my signature you cant see anything major. Plus I don't think the body shop guy I'd the best quality. I would say not more than a 100 bucks. I did my entire kit with spoilers and everything so that's why i wouldn't have a exact quote for you.

Here is mine. Taken with my iPhone so the quality sucks. I also have all the badging on the rear taking off and filled the holes where the Star was. Also color matched the rear valance between the mufflers.
