OEM Wheel Weights
Question,
I'm interested in getting a set of 20" Monet Wheels (low cash-flow
) and I'm trying to see just how bad of a hit I'll take on the unsprung weight at the rear.
The only person I've seen say anything about stock E63 wheels was MB_Forever who said they weigh about 30-31lbs per wheel (Thanks for the info MB!!). The Monet guys are saying the 20's are around 26lbs per wheel...is this correct? Will my unsprung weight be lower with the 20's? I know that the tires themselves are heavier but if this is true they would about equal out.
I'm honestly planning on removing one of my rear wheels and throwing it on the wife's Weight Watcher scale to see JUST what our stock wheels weigh
but figured I'd ask here first.
Your help is much appreciated!!!
PS. If any of you know of a different wheel that I should look into...all input would be helpful.
