Good news for 55's with aging/cracking seats.
My 03 still only has 33k on it but the seats are the only thing that is hurting on it.
Drivers side bottom is showing serious lines and the perforated part is really starting to wear down and crack. I have used some of the super leather products mentioned on the forum but nothing is helping.
RBrenton mentioned that he can snag you parts if needed and I held my breath and asked how much it would be to replace the seat. Heard years ago it would run 3K+ but he came back and said that they do just sell the bottom piece for the seat. It's still Benz so you get raped, but for my vehicle with the Nappa leather it ran roughly 540$ and that's with RBrenton giving me the near at cost price. Stealer would be hundreds more.
Better than 3K+ and my car will look pretty much like new.
Upper would run 645$. Contact RBrenton if anyone is interested.
