Has anyone did a do it yourself on replacing front rotors and pads. I was wondering if its hard to do or should I just take it to a shop. Thanks

It is possible to DIY, but you need to make sure that the SBC is disconnected or it could be dangerous.

Unless you are really into doing it, the parts and labor are cheap enough to just pay for the work and be done with it.

As long as you unplug the ebc connector, passenger side engine compartment if it's e55, it is a pretty standard brake job.

For me it's not about the money saved but the enjoyment of wrenching on your own ride.

How much does it cost to get brake pads and rotors front and back for the E55. I got it with 19k miles an dnow have 24,800 so i dont know yet?

Wear loose fitting pants when you go in to get it done! You probably aren't due for them yet, but ouch!
