I have had lots of problems with I-forged in the past, and they are overpriced.

Oh, I agree that the brakes would blend in if you kept them the stock color. You'd have to get the bbk painted yellow, red, or some other color to stand out. Here is a link to a set on a e55 with blue painted capliers done by SonicMS.

I personally don't like Iforged either but that's just me...

You think IForged wheels are overpriced? That's my first time hearin that...

For the price you're willin to spend, I'm sure you can fine a decent set of HRE's used or something else like that...

Brand new IForged will cost around 3200 to 3400 with brushed and high polish lip.

Brand new HRE will cost from 4500 up and I heard the HRE wheels are soft

I had I-forged on my M3.. With time, the wheels went to ****. I polished/waxed them once a week.

I have had a set of HRE's in the past and never had any problems with mine. Many people on the boards here have them also and I'm sure they can say the same...There is always gonna be one or two sets from ANY company where there wheels are not up to par as others....

I personally will NEVER deal with Iforged. I would rather pay the extra money and get the HRE's and have the peace of mind that it comes with. I have heard way too many horror stories from people on the boards AND from friends of mine that tell me how much of a headache it is to deal with them...but then again I am only one person. I'm sure there are MANY people out there that are happy with their Iforged wheels....more power to them...

Just my 2 cents...

I agree with Sun, I have had both Iforged and HRE, and the HRE is about, well 10000 times better than Iforged. Iforged are made in a sweat shop, whereas HREs are made in a facility that looks like the darn Nasa building.

Food for thought

BTW. My Iforged lasted two months before they broke on the 405 freeway for no good reson. I didnt hit anything, they just snapped. I wish I still had the picture, you would definitely not get them

Stick with AMG.

I would search for a set of SL65 AMG wheels. My friend did this on his black E55 and it looks fantastic. Im also looking for a set now. Some mags look cheap on a Merc IMO. You can't go wrong with an AMG wheel
