little help?
wonder if you guys have ever had this happen and how to fix easily without a trip to the dealer.
1. when i turn off the car i have "convenience" set so the steering column and seat move to make it easier to exit the car and as of late the steering column moves but the seat does not. i have gone in changed it and then waited 10 mins or so then changed it back and still nada. any idea on how to fix?
2. also, i was driving the car last weekend - haven't driven it in 3-4 weeks and every time i hit the brakes I got a squeak noise from up front on the passenger side? Could it be since I haven't driven the car or could the line be kinked or something. Once i heard it, then i heard it every time and started driving me nutty!

I had a pen get stuck in the seat track and it jammed the seat. The convenience feature quit working until I removed the pen and reset the seat in the sync mode (ran seat back and forth to extreme travel and held button for a 10 count), then adjusted it to my setting saved it with my key in ing. and the convenience returned to normal operation.
The brakes, 3 hard stops from 100 should clean things up.
