The install is easy. You pop the insert at one end and slide the entire unit to free up the bindings. If you have parktronic, you need to move all your sensors over to the new piece and then you need to decide what to do with the running lights. Easiest is to wrap the light and housing in a thick material (tape backed material sells everywhere) and tie it up into the body. The best way is to pull the lights out and go in with STAR SDS and turn that feature off (as in the Euro setting).
Steve@Mbenznl used to sell them, so maybe creative is getting them through him? Also, I know a couple of others that are getting access to Euro spec parts through the dealers.
As always, check into your vendors and be happy with who you support.

Jangy,
I purchased my current W211's strips from Steve, with the conversion now it's just not logical. I paid like $700 for them. I was able to get my R230 strips through the dealer - $190. I do not believe the W211 ones can easily be gotten through the dealer, but $300 is a great deal for the cleanest way to get rid of those NASTY orange reflectors. I seriously have a phobia when it comes to orange reflectors... all 3 of my cars have them deleted.

FWIW...I ordered a pair earlier and met up with James over the weekend to receive them (thanks James). I have not installed them so I cannot speak to fitment, but they look great and as many of you know customer service is
James - I picked up those OEM xenons and they are 100% legit (to the eye). Brand new and never installed. They will be installed this week so hopefully everything works out. Thanks again for everything.

Be careful with the install. You don't want to break any of the plastic. Other than that, it is a very easy install and the end result is VERY clean.

Would you have a "reference vin" and a "part number" I would like to purchase them from the dealer if the price is right.
Thanks

Same here, first thing I do besides window tint is plot my orange marker assasination. But I also hate the egg yolk look in the head lamps so I get rid of all the orange blinkers too and replace them with the clear ones that blink amber.

When you remove it, you have to pop out the side not directly infront, but the side that curves towards the side of the car? How hard should I be pulling to pop it out?
Thanks

New chrome strips are provided, all that is required is for you to pop off the old and snap on the new.
No they will not, as the E63 does not have an actual removable strip, the strip on the E63's are all integrated into the bumper.
Yes, it would be advised to start where the current orange reflector is, there is where 4 or 6 clips will be located on that side, once those clips are dislogged, then you would simply slide out the bumper strip from the front side.
