Comparison e55 & c63

Comparison e55 & c63
After driving my bros c63 amg all day yesterday i would like to compare it to my e55. First off some positives and negatives about the c63
Positives:
1. The exhaust note is one of the best iv heard. Sounds like a Ferrari. very deep and low growl.
2. The transmission is very quick and especially with the down shift blips it is just awesome.
3. The exterior is really nice Mercedes did a good job designing this car.
4. This thing is a beast off the line. Very fast.
Negatives;
1. The interior is very cheap looking and unless you get the leather package it is crap imho.
2. The seats are ok but if your a little bit bigger like me, 5'11 205 lbs, the seats can be uncomfortable at times.
3. The suspension is really stiff and rough. My bro doesnt have the 030 perf. pack. but i imagine that it is even worse with the pp.
Comparing it to the e55:
1. Acceleration e55>c63. This is just my opinion driving them back to back.
2. Exhaust c63>e55. No question here.
3. Suspension e55>c63. The c63 is to rough for me but to each his own.
4. Interior e55>c63. The e55's interior doesnt compare to the c63.
5. Exterior c63>e55. The c63 exterior design is more up to date. Better looking taillights, rear diffuser, and front bumper.
6. Options e55>c63. The c63 doesnt come with that many options. No panorama, keyless go, trunk closer, ventilated seats, etc. options are a must for me.
Again this comparison is just my opinion. People have different views and this is mine after driving and analyzing them back to back.

pretty much summed it all up.
W204 exterior design is very nicely executed, (maybe except the awkward rear taillights). but the interior is dismal - so damn cheap looking. hope it's not a trend for upcoming new MBs

yeah interior is from CHRYSLER 300 cars when MERCEDES owned them,
however that exhause is by far the best sounding and feeling of ANY mercedes AMG i have driven, sounds and feels awesome in the new C 63,
its a new muffler design Im told, and new cat design as well

Nice comparison on the two and I would have to agree with you most points. Plain and simple, the SC on the E just plain out makes the 5.5 (and C32) fun as heck to drive. 
Where does MB go next? Do they SC the 6.3 or is it 1970 all over again where we see HP going the other way from here on forward?

the suspension of the c63 doesnt seem that harsh at all. but then again im sure thats all a matter of perspective. im coming from the bmw world where my m3 still has a ground control race/track kit, 550 spring rates front 600 rear. the benz feels squishy. comfortable, but squishy. u get used to firm suspensions fast.

OP: Could you try a side-by-side race w/ your bro? Just want to check how the E55 fares. Is your E55 stock?
I wouldn't be surprised if C63 is actually faster.... On average, E63 is slightly slower than E55 under 100... but faster above 100... w/ lighter body, I think C63 would be as fast as E55 under 100 and pretty much no contest for E55 above 100.
