Command - Change logo to AMG
Hi Guys,
A tip from a good friend of mine. Works a treat! I am sure most of you already know this, for those of you who dont here goes.
When you first start you E55 up, the COMAND system displays the 'STAR symbol. Well if you'd prefer to see the 'AMG' logo instead, then just do the following:
Turn ignition key to position 1 or 2.
2. Turn on Command.
3. Turn to Radio.
4. Press 5 (continue holding and wait 1 second).
5. Press 3 (continue to hold along with 5 key and wait 1 second).
6. Press 7 (continue to hold along with 5 and 3 keys and wait about 3 seconds).
7. A menu should appear. Scroll down and select "AMG211_ECE" option.
8. Switch off ignition, remove key and leave about 5 minutes before turning on again

I must be the only tard here... All I managed to do was to set my #3,5 and 7 presets to the same station.

One thing to notice is once you do the "amg" screen, you lose the AM channels being displayed in the instrument cluster. FM,sat,ipod are all fine,I believe it's due to the euro programming of the head unit. Just some fyi so you don't take to the car to the dealer for a display problem.
