The remote is actually finally available, the price is $595.

the remote works kind of like an iPod, with vehicle cues.

On the menu, you can chose which height you want to adjust, and display of a shock will appear and the click down will say lowering 1/4 inch, 1/2 inch etc.

Once the remote is plugged into the provided harness in the V2 the knobs are disabled, and all controls will be made via remote.

$595!!! No offense but I think I'll extend my ELM to underneath the cupholder...

just got done rewiring, and all seems good now. When its off, its equal on all sides. For some reason the rear sits much lower now, so I had to raise it up some.

I don't think you can control all 4 corners on a W211, unless you are playing a balancing game with the suspension. The rear only has one sensor.
+1. I've had mine installed the same time with Jangy and it has been great! Just make sure you take your car in for the alignment to extend the life of your tires.

The new model looks good, but $595 for the remote?

I called the shop I'm going to have the ELM installed at, and he called Renntech. Looks like they changed the design. Original design was to cost $99. This new iPod design costs $595. I'm going to have the shop extend the lines for that price.

LOL!!! $595 for a wired remote, no less. Why not just extend the harness?

Jangy can't buy RennTech stuff anymore. I'm looking for my suspension source for the next generation.

Charles, dude!! LOL, you are too funny assuming you won't be left holding the egg just because you followed the instructions. Try having their own installer install and see if they even cover that!!

You are opening up a big can of worms there.

Just do a search on jangy and Creative and Renntech and you will get the low down.

As for your ELM, are you installing V1 or V2?

meh, its all good anyway. It's fine now, and if something was messed up, I would take off the ELM and take it in under warranty.

I think Im going to extend the harness now that the price has gone up on the remote ever so slightly

I really like having it under my cup holder as seen in the pics above. Who cares about the remote. Guess if you kept the box at your floor panel then the remote could help, but to me its really them looking for one more way to make money off you. Spend $5 on wires and solder and shrink wrap and spend the 20 extra minutes it takes to extend it to a more convenient location. Just make sure its hidden well so the dealer wont see it.

Freekin63, buy placing it under your cup holder, do you have to lose the cupholder?

No. It fits underneath the cupholder part. You unlock the cupholder and there is a compartment underneath.

Nah, Creative couldn't come through. A bounced check and not a milestone made and I had no choice but to give up.

No, it fits right under the cup holder. there is plenty of room and the wires get easy access into the area from under the passenger chair. Just make sure you DO NOT spill anything!!

That's too bad. I've been off the board maybe close to a year now. The last I read was your post to sell the ELM, then your decision to keep it.

Regarding the cupholder, I have an '03. Is your cupholder in the same location as mine? My cupholder is located just before that center arm rest/storage compartment.

Yeah, things went south so we'll see what happens when the dust settles. at this point, I'm done. MBUSA has my statement and I'll repeat it when its time.

I forgot all about your butterfly armrests!! I do not know how it would work on yours. Maybe try what i want to do and thats to put it in the little compartment under the driver seat.
