Hey all. Was hoping someone could point me in the direction for new brake pads. I am getting a little squeel from them. The dealer replaced the rotors and pads once already and hasnt really helped. Now they say its not abnormal for these breaks to squeak...WTF does that mean...it still squeaks!
My disc are only a few months old so I was thinking about just changing the pads to something that might be a different material. Has anyone else done this or know where I can get NON MB AMG brake pads for an 2007 e63?

 

This is from an E55 owner, but I imagine the places mentioned carry E63 brakes too....

porterfield should have 63 pads by now.

 

Can you help with a link or something....
Been looking around and seems like I find one company will carry the front and another the rear...would like to find 1 place that has both without buying the OEM crappy pads from the dealer!

 

My brakes squeak too

 

yeah dealer replaced brakes and disc's once and say they just cant keep replacing them....Since they just replaced it all a month or two ago and the noise is still there I am trying to find some different pads. Ones that hopefully are made of a totally different compound.

 

Let us know what you find. Supposedly the brake squeak issue is rampant on the E63.
