Ceramic Tint causing interference

I just had my 2005 E55 tinted at T&T with 35% Ceramic Tint.
I was told that it would not cause any interference with the KEY GO system or electronics. But right in the parking lot after they finished the job, I couldnt lock/unlock the door. I thought it would go away, but getting in on a locked car is shoot and miss.

Is the receiver for the key fob, or using my finger on the door handle in the rear window, or is it the ceramic tint causing all my difficulties???

ceramic tint shouldn't cause any interference. doesn't bother my benz, M3, or X5.

Either you got ripped off or the batteries in the key are bad.

I changed the battery the same day before coming home and it didnt help. I was thinking "Hey. maybe they did use metallic tint instead of Ceramic tint".

How would one really know? Anyways, Im going back to T&T tinting back on Saturday to have them check it out....

what was the name of the tint they used? price would tell you if it was ceramic or not unless they're crooks.

OP:

You've got it backwards. It's metallic tint that interferes with your radio reception, etc., not ceramic. You shouldn't be having those issues with ceramic tint.

U sure you put ceramic on there?
