I think it's TT already... Do you mean increasing the boost?
If it's like B5 S4 where cooling issue causes the turbo to prematurely cease, it would be no good.
But yeah... the performance as it is seems good... I still don't think it's worth the price, though (what's the expected US MSRP? $110K+?

Too fat and soon-to-be-overpriced. I'll take an M5 with a TTV10 any day, which is rumored to be in the works. Less weight, less money, certainly going to be ugly but with performance to spare I don't care.

Just saw a C5 RS6 the other day in my neighbourhood and it's still a bloody neat car, sounded great too...
I'd be tempted if AoA brought the Avant version over, have been thinking that I'd swap a saloon for an estate next. Too bad MB is the only one that currently has the E63 in the estate version here in the U.S., wonder if at least they will continue to bring it to our market when the W212 AMG debuts?
After having leased an '04 A8L for 3 years and looking at my brother's C6 S6, Audi still makes the best interior IMHO and I'm sure the RS6 is no exception.
Admittedly though, I'm getting tired of $75+ petrol fills in my E63...the turbocharged 4.4 V8 in the upcoming F10 5-series ought to make a decent alternative for my daily driver as well if the world oil prices still hover around $140 in the future. And if it goes even higher? Well, bring on the turbo 3.0 I6 or the Audi supercharged V6...this oil market can't continue!

2007 Corvette Z06/2011 BMW M3
Audi's always late to the game. They always have the advantage of coming out with they're products a lot later then the competition, but always fall short. The RS6 is a heavy(45xxlbs!)and outdated car. Mercedes and BMW are a year away from their new model and Audi shows up late again. Nothing new. I really dont care how much power it makes, its off setted by the weight it carries. I'd much rather have an M5.

2008 E63
the rs6 will always be a consideration for me. it will depend on the market and on a proper test drive. i've owned the previous gen rs6 as well as an e39 and e60 m5 and the e63. they all accomplish certain things better and all appeal to a slightly different, yet overlapping audience.

RS6 Wagon = 4,464 lbs
M5 Touring = 4,012 lbs
E63 = 507 bhp or 8.66 lbs/hp
RS6 = 572 bhp or 7.80 lbs/hp
M5 = 500 bhp or 8.02 lbs/hp
+2 for AWD. I know which I'd pick
