Get away with what ??

 

I think V12Godspeed meant that his brother is a young kid so the GM thought he could get a way with treating V12Godspeed's brother badly.

I've never seen a GM in an MB dealer act that way. Not even a GSM. Just unprofessional and pressure.

 

I don't condone what the GM did, but you couldn't pay me enough to be in that line of work...I saw a lady in her late 50's or 60's rip the SA at my dealership (a really good guy) a new one simply because they didn't adjust her clock for Daylight Savings time when she got her car back. The car was a freakin' SL600 with "(so and such's) TOY" on the vanity plate - obviously a gift for the "trophy" wife. Of course he just smiled, apologized profusely and sent out an APB for a tech to fix it before she had an coronary..

After she left he looked at me, sighed and said "Welcome to my world..."

Just another reminder of why I got out of the service industry...
