Got a Few Minor "Mods"
Got the car tinted, installed some clear side markers and swapped in a flat hood emblem. Thanks to Arling and Tom at Lucent.

Looks great. I'm surprised that Arling and Tom are still in business.

My recommendation is to take off those clears and install Euro impact strips without any indicators at all. MUCH cleaner look.

The E63 doesn't have removable impact strips. It's part of the bumper.

Doh! I forgot about that. I guess it would have been too expensive just to replace the whole bumper just for that one minor mod.

i was actually going to color match the origs., but i like the look of the clears. i think it flows well with this color.

hey i have a very similar looking e63 amg but with the panorama sunroof. i was wondering what % ur tint was. And I was also wondering how it would look if i got tint on my car with the panorama roof, and if i should get the top windshield tinted or not.

tint is 35%. the rear may appear darker because the shades are up. i personally don't like the look of a tinted visor and the tinted windshield on my M5 annoys me. it's really a matter of personal preference though.

i'm in west hills. i don't like mercedes calabasas nor the one in encino. i have a guy at silver star in thousand oaks that i've bought a few cars from now. he's a straight shooter and i can do all my deals over the phone or email.

I had to work in Thousand Oaks yesterday, off of Rancho. Lovely area, SOOOOOOO far though!!!
