You should not need to, you may have a vacuum leak. I think there is a TSB for that. Anyway the adjustment is done with a STAR diagnostics.
Sorry late post the police busted 3 kids breaking in to a house 4 doors down, 7 patrol cars with lights going so funny, one doctors kid we know was carted off in cuffs. So I started the post and was distracted by all the blue lights.
