I dont think I will spray the hell out my car. I already break too much stuff! I will think about running you on the bottle with me off the bottle so you can have a chance


First time I've ever had the rental on a weekend and was able to talk them down from $200/car to $100/car but we need at least 40 cars. We had 34 cars yesterday and I think everyone was happy with the number of runs they got in and lines were very short if you can even call them lines. I'm thinking about starting a pot to have VHT sprayed further than the 60'!

Also, might have the next event catered if everyone thinks its a good idea and wants to pitch in since MIR is in the middle of nowhere and food is far far away! What do you guys think? If you want to pitch in for VHT just paypal me however much you want to throw in to mercedeseclass@hotmail.com It costs us 50 cents per foot and any money I receive will go towards spraying the track further than the 60'

Does this mean that if you don't get 40 cars lined up and paid the race will not happen? As you guys know I am comming from CA so transport, plane, rooms, work,track, etc. mucho $$. Not to mention the
TURBINE ENGINE INSTALL .

If it is not a problem I would like to wait a few weeks. I am in WV in the mountains (near the ski resorts) so we tend to get snow a little earlier in the year. If it snows I will not be able to make it, if the weather looks good a week or so before the event I will send the $ if that is okay. How do you know who paid and who did not pay at the gate?

I ran a 12.27@113.2 this past weekend at MIR so I hope the cooler weather will get me some better times in November

As for the spraying of VHT I can throw in a few bucks, hopefully everyone will. That makes a HUGE difference if you can launch as hard as you want without spinning

I think what he was saying is that in order to get $100 per car pricing we need 40 cars. Otherwise it will be more expensive...but this is going down regardless. I would think given the turn out yesterday...on a quasi-holiday..we should easily get 50+ on a Saturday...especially drawing the nationwide pool of the fastest MBs in the country.

mphotoman- Thats fine. I really hope we dont get any precipitation! The first 60' are sprayed with VHT free of charge, any extra money I get goes towards spraying beyong that point! Thanks.

You will want at least to the 330' mark. Most are auto and won't matter, but if there are manual cars going definately need more room. The HP and Torque you guys are putting out, it's a must. National events are done out to the 660' mark at the very least. To shatter records, you will want that done. On average it's like $700 per lane, not sure what they are charging on that side of the country. Believe me track prep is more important than anything else that day. Tell them you are paying for a Top Fuel car to do testing that day and it needs to be safe. That ups the ante.

We will get as much as people are willing to pay for. So far we only get to the 60' since thats what is provided with the rental. Luckily for us ther eis a huge event the weekend prior to this and if it doesnt rain we may have some sticky stuff left over from that event
