Bikes...now we're talking. If this thing is open to bikes, I'm gonna bring a bunch of them. How about a 196 whp GSXR 1000 Yoshimura Superbike? I'll run against that big bad Busa if it's got a stock arm on it! Even more impressive (although slower) is a Harley Dyna with apes that can put down consistant 10.50's, all motor, no spray. Maybe the Desmosedici RR, been wanting to see what that will run at the strip. Let me know if we are really allowed to run bikes.

do the normal drag strip rules apply? At Moroso they say I need a firewall in the CLS because of the fuel cell, and my 997tt needs a full cage because it runs 10's...Same over there??? I would hate to ship the weapons out and they tell us we can't run.

Dude...you have a Desmosedici RR??? I think that wipes the slate clean with me.... that is an amazing bike.... I thought my buddy's 1098R was a really nice bike....but wow... I have to give you props...

$65K for one of them, only 400 a year produced. Talk about exclusivity. Did I say $65K for one of them....nuff said.

I told you all long ago that bikes are my true passion, I raced superbikes and 600 super sport (now it's called super stock I believe) WERA and AMA Pro back on the 90's. I just like cars now because I'm getting too old to be thrown on the ground at 100-130mph anymore. That starts to takes it's toll on the body once it has happened a dozen or so times. In my club racing days as an ametuer I would either win or crash...no in betweens. My personal favorite was the time I actually crashed after I won the race on the cool down lap, that was a classic.

We will see how much room we have in the trailer and hauler. I was planning on bringing an ATV tow vehicle and a couple scooters as pit bikes. I can probably still fit 2 bikes in the trailer with the car and just put the ATV and scooters on the cargo hold on the hauler. Maybe I'll have to leave the scooters at home and just walk around the track.

^- yep in the old 208. As you guys know its not going to do that on motor. It will be N/A with the bottle on it that alone won't get me there either so my other mods are posi custom long tube headers 3" dual exhaust custom cold air kit some trans work and drag radials.

are you crazy? The car will go mid-low 12 on motor with just posi and drag radials. I went 13.0 with just an air filter mod on 18" non drag tires. you don't have to believe me but please don't insult me.

i look forward to your runs, its gonna take ALOT of NOS to get you there and I only speak from personal experience, and it will take more then "posi and drag radials to get into "mid-low 12s" thats some serious wishful thinking, just dont want you to be dissapointed, again good luck my man.

jim, sorry to say the only chance you have (in a straight line anyway...) against any of the bikes we are bringing is gonna be against my stock 1000. the busa makes 270+rwhp and is lowered, strapped and extended, while the other 1000 makes 220+rwhp, and is lowered and strapped. that one does have a stock arm though...
If you like being able to rip the wheel up off the ground at 130, this is the bike for you.
BTW, what have you got done to the Busa? Turbo? What about the other bike?
