It was a lexus is-f. Ya i was surprised to. I lost traction for 2 seconds and then i couldnt catch up. We tied up to about 80. I was really surprised how it pulled.

In all honesty, you may want to make sure your car is running correctly (not being an ***). Were you running good gas etc.? I say this because I have an 07 E63 (stock) and was ahead of an IS-F by 4 car lengths by 110 - 120MPH. The one important note was that the IS-F had 4 people in it, I had 1 passenger. Still, take all passengers out and I am sure I would have had atleast a couple of car lengths. That is a big difference.

I have raced a few E55's as well in my stock IS-F and the runs have been dead even if we go from a slow roll or stop light but if we go from a 60 roll to say 140 or so, the E55 will slowly creep away. In any event, both cars are very quick...

Is the IS-F boat loads lighter than the 55? I ask this because you would think 516 ft/lbs tq vs. 371 ft/lbs would give the E a big advantage out of the hole

The ISF comes in around 3800 lbs. I think that the ISF has just enough TQ to get a solid launch w/o overwhelming the tires but if the E doesn't launch perfectly you end up in some wheel spin which doesn't help forward motion (as you know).

Let's not forget, the 55 also has 55HP more. So, as the speed increases so should the lead for the 55. Maybe my 93HP advantage is why I really seperated the distance in the 63???

The 55 should be 12.5 at worst (more like 12.3). That is <obviously> .3 tenths better which is very significant. Nearly 1 full car length. .5 seconds equals well over 1 car length. It shouldn't have been that close.

There are countless e55's that have dynoed at 500 hp. The e63 has 7 more hp then the e55.

Huh, those SOB's are quicker than I thought. I stand corrected.
If your car was hot in ANY fashion (like all our heat monsters are), you were reduced on hp to a degree as well.

I dont think my car was that hot. I drove it 30 min before i raced this guy. And i was on the highway crusiing at 70. Idk maybe they are that quick. But after 100 mph its over for the lexus is-f
