***In Preparation for MIR 11/15/2008, I purchased a new item for my set up***
We're doing a Test/Tune in Northern Indiana on August 30, 2008 for a Pre-eastern Tune-up!!! Get a hold of Jerry at LET. He can set you up!!! The Chicago contingent has it all figured out. We're going to run some slow times (called= Sandbagging) in August so that when November and cool weather rolls around, we look like we only got faster!!!
There will be some C32s running in the low 12s. Maybe some Srt-6s in the 11s too!!!__________________
See you there
Not east coast, thats a Jersey boy! That was priceless!

btw, by the time this even rolls around all you east coasters will be trying to keep up with an e55 with 85k miles on the odometer. that'll be like losing to one of the mandelbaums if you can't keep up!

I realize no increase in HP, but I hope it will accomplish 3 things:
1) Help in my launches to consistently get at 1.62-1.70 60'.
2) Beef up the rear end so I don't break it at MIR or NED next time a launch aggressively
3) Break the all motor record of 11.340 at MIR for E55's.
Stay tuned..........
1. won't change a thing on launch times or consistency (in my experience).
2. definitely helps prevent grenading the rear end and axles (in my experience).
3. i think that will happen several times throughout the day!

JRCart: see if you can get your hands on the specs for your axles and have Moser Engineering make you a set. or you could also send them your originals to duplicate, obviously not as convenient though. think of it as a $500 insurance policy. not sure how the axles are retained in a Benz rear, i would think and hope that they are not c clips.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG

West Coast got this...... I can already picture the looks on people's faces when chiromikey pulls off a 1.42 60' time and JakPro unleashes his 700 HP beast down the track without being held back by 6000 ft DA..... Shock and Awe effect

Ahhhhhh...... I can smell the title already

Well, we got a little surprise for you, and it comes in a WAGON!!! Imagine being beat by a unsuspecting E55 WAGON. That will be more humiliating than an 85,000 mile E55.
Sea level, 50-60 degree weather, NO DIFFERENCE, West Coasters going down.

time has come for the Student to take his place at the T O P .
I know you will not go quietly into that good night, but a loss is coming. Similar to hurricane season. There is alot of sucking and blowing at the beginning(small V12 turbo spool)(SC engagement). By the end of all the noise from FI , you quip " did I win"? LOL!!!!!!! The Titanic ,UNSINKABLE? not.
Dam gotta go to the Mountains, oh you ask what are "Mountains" LOL

As for the weather, no excuses here, I have the current e/t title for 63's and set that record in Chicago at 82-85% humidity at nearly 650ft above sea level. The way I look at it, traveling those 15 hours is like free horsepower and according to everyones calculations is going to be worth 2-3 tenths.
All the smack talking is what will make this event great. Imagine how stupid I will look if I go out there and run slower than I do in Chicago...that's the kind of luck I have...and you guys will never let me live it down. I have started a SMACK list of everyone who is talking smack (pretty much everyone) I have a few grudge match I want to see happen, this is going to be great.
