someone mention going to a club after the event. Good luck finding one! MIR is pretty much middle of nowhere...You will have to drive atelast an hour back to DC to find anything worth going to.

That sounds like a pretty good plan. How far is ATCO from DC area?? You must be planning on leaving early than on Friday, right?? Is Lee up for it?? I was hoping we all could drive down together.

Lee, Kleemann is putting in my Quaife TODAY. The differential was sent overnight to Cory and he should complete the job today and fed ex overnight for Wednesday delivery. If David can put it all back together Wednesday, I am in for the track. Zack has to change a meeting today but I think he is in likewise. I forget the name of the other dude from Boston who went last week. He will want to be informed.

I just dropped off my baby at the shop for a little surgery of her own. She goes under the wrench today around noon for a little "Tune-up". I should have her back on Saturday with an extra 100hp thanks to a little help from some N 2 0.
If all goes well, and the weather is good I should be at the Route 66 Test & Tune next Tuesday night running her with the Nitrous and Mickey Thompsons...
I'm looking to shatter my previous best times and put the 63 title out of reach for quite a while. I will report back with an update as soon as I get her back. BTW, CF drive shaft should be here first week of September.

Hope everything works out for you......No NOS for my engine. Local track wouldn' like me running in the 10.'s very much. They will tolerate the occasional sub 11.49's.
Please VIDEO your runs and may I suggest from the rear of the car for a great vantage point rather from the bleechers. Nothing like watching the car launch from a few feet away and watching the car cross the line and seeing the board at the same time.

It will be interesting to see if I notice a difference in launching with the QUAIFE. I think I am going to try at least 3 different launch techniques tonight with the QUAIFE t see results of 60'. That's my primary focus tonight is to figure out which technique will yield best 60' results with the QUAIFE....

I think I need to start shopping for a stronger rear-end and axles, the CF drive shaft should help cushion the final drive a little bit, but once I get the head work and cams I'm sure she will taking more than she'll be able to handle and it's just a matter of time before she blows a rear-end or snaps an axle.

Ya, here are a couple of pics before it was installed. I even had it covered in black leather to match the leather in the car, same texture even the same stiching used on OEM steering wheel.
