I'm having a similar problem, the sampling rate is horribly slow.
I wondered if it was my laptop being too slow but it ran fine not so long ago.
There's probably something in an update to the product that slowed it down. I've been in contact with them an no improvement after their suggestions either.

I am running Auto-tap and also have the same slow update sampling (You are not alone. Even on the other cars. I just bought a newer version after 8 years and it is still sloooooow..Being hungry for infrormation, it is frustrating to only run two or so parameters per run to get quicker samplings.

IAT, timing, speed and others seem to update fine... several times per second from looking at the raw data in excel. I am going to try and un-install and replace with an older version to see the difference if any.

I switched to AutoEng from Autotap and it's light years faster, but yeah still kinda blows due to OBDII.
No idea why super slow reponse from RPM.
Try an experiment and just run RPM solo with NOTHING else and see if it is faster at all. If not, most likely the devils OBDII. Possible software though so worth a shot.
Can't wait for something new.

The problem has to do with baud rate coming out of DME.
Several month ago, I spent 4 hours with R&D engineer from Innovate, trying to get it put out data faster. We tried different command strings and data formats. It would not budge.
New LM-2, by the way, is awesome.

So I rolled back to version 5.4 from version 6.1 and the update speed is much better. Speed, RPM and IAT running all together update every 6/10 of a second... which is plenty fast enough for my purposes.
