...I solved this problem...

...by trimming down a silicone reducer - fits perfectly now![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

The problem wasn't with the airbox design, but the eBay seller of my particular box neglected to tell me it was for an engine with the 80mm throttle body - which mine hasn't![Frown](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
So on went the Python tubes at the same time - resut, is a great looking engine bay, more growl and few more horses - yay!

Great job!! Glad it's sucking nice clean and COOLER air now.
Gotta be running better for ya no??
I kind agree with the guys that perhaps a shot of black paint on her would help hide it a bit, but long as it's working.

The parts shop only had blue or orange, but I'll have a look for a black one now I know it works ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
